Create a Grok video generation task with support for text-to-video, image-to-video, and Video-to-Video Remix.

An example model ID is grok-imagine-video. The examples use MODEL_ID; available models are determined by the model list returned for the current API key.

Grok video model ID, such as grok-imagine-video. Available models are determined by the model list returned for the current API key.

Video duration in seconds, valid only for text-to-video and image-to-video. The range is 1–15 and the default is 5. Remix does not support this field; its output duration matches the input video and is limited to 8.7 seconds.

List of input images for image-to-video. Provide either this field or image.

image?string

Single image for image-to-video, provided as a public URL or Base64 data URI. Provide either this field or images.

metadata?

Additional parameters forwarded to the upstream service. This object can pass through advanced Grok parameters such as seed, negative_prompt, and fps.

The platform calculates quota usage dynamically from the request parameters. Retain metadata with the request to support reconciliation and reproduction.
