Create a video

Common parameters are placed at the top level of the request. Pass model-specific parameters through metadata.

POST/v1/video/generations

Create a Hailuo video task with the common platform Video Generations fields. Put all Hailuo-specific parameters in the metadata object.

MiniMax-Hailuo-2.3 and MiniMax-Hailuo-2.3-Fast support 6- or 10-second videos at 768P or 1080P. MiniMax-Hailuo-02 supports 6- or 10-second videos at 512P, 768P, or 1080P. T2V-01-Director supports 6 seconds at 768P or 1080P, while T2V-01 supports 6 seconds at 720P. I2V-01-Director, I2V-01-live, and I2V-01 support 6 seconds at 720P or 1080P; S2V-01 supports 6 seconds at 720P.

Available models and capabilities are determined by the model list returned for the current API key and by the selected model.

Video duration in seconds. The Hailuo 2.3 and 02 series support 6 or 10 seconds. T2V, I2V, and S2V models are recorded as supporting 6 seconds. The actual range depends on the selected model.
