Retrieve Kling 4.0 tasks submitted using the platform format.
Save the task ID returned by creation and retrieve it using an API Key for the same site. Stopping polling does not cancel generation.

Read retrieval results
Platform retrieval returns a code/message/data wrapper, where data is a single task object. code: "success" means the retrieval request succeeded; check data.status to determine whether video generation is complete.
| Situation | Meaning and action |
|---|---|
HTTP 200, data.status: "processing" | Processing continues; data.url may be an empty string. Query again later |
HTTP 200, data.status: "succeeded" | Generation succeeded. Read the URL from data.url and save the result promptly |
HTTP 400, code: "task_not_exist" | Task not found. Check the task ID, API Key, and site |
HTTP 401, Invalid token | Check Bearer authentication and whether the API Key belongs to the requested site; missing and invalid Keys may produce the same error |
data.error and data.metadata may be null. The platform wrapper differs from native retrieval's data[]. See the native retrieval API for native fields and list-price information.
HTTP 400/401 indicates an error in the retrieval request, not a failed generation task. An error response may not contain a normal task object. Resolve the error before reading video URLs or continuing to poll.
